# Code of conduct

Bitborn welcomes people learning and teaching low-level computing, regardless of
experience, background, identity or disability. These expectations apply to
project issues, discussions, reviews and other spaces maintained for Bitborn.

- Be patient with beginners. Explain technical disagreements with evidence and
address the work rather than attacking the person.
- Respect names, pronouns and boundaries. Keep feedback useful and relevant.
- Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, share another person's private information,
or post sexual content or unwanted solicitations.
- Follow moderation requests and do not retaliate against someone who reports a concern.

Report conduct concerns privately to the maintainer, Othmane Blial, at
[blial.othmane@gmail.com](mailto:blial.othmane@gmail.com), the contact published on
the [maintainer's GitHub profile](https://github.com/OthmaneBlial). Include the
relevant project links and context; omit unrelated personal information.
For software vulnerabilities, use the separate [security policy](SECURITY.md).

The maintainer may clarify expectations, remove content, limit participation or
exclude someone depending on severity and repetition. Reports are handled as
discreetly as practicable; relevant information may need to be shared to investigate
or resolve a concern. This volunteer project does not guarantee a response deadline.

This is Bitborn's own conduct policy, distributed under the project's MIT license.
